And then… life.

Some excuses about things I haven’t done.

Life has a habit of catching up with us, annoyingly in my case it’s usually right after I start a project like this one, and make grand claims about what I’m going to do.

Spoiler alert for misery fans, there’s no hectic bad news or heartbreak coming up here; in fact the excuses for where I’ve been are pretty standard! We’ve moved house, my son has started school, I’m still a stay home parent part time, I’ve started my own consulting business and have a few clients, and yes I’m still doing the Hundred Dollar Project! In fact it’s been ticking along quite nicely, I just haven’t written about it!

The biggest news is that I’m finally 100% self employed, which has been a lifelong dream!

I’ll go into more detail in the next few posts about what’s happened and where the project is at. I’ve tried a few things; some have succeeded, some have failed! I’ve handled the failure and expanded on the successes. I’ve even used some of the buy and sell money to branch out into a couple of tiny side hustles which is really exciting.

First things first, I need to get back into the habit of posting regularly. So I’ll be aiming to make a post each Friday. Let’s see if I can achieve that and we’ll go from there!
